日本おもちゅあ無線協会
おもちゅあは「おもちゃ」それとアマチュアを合成した造語です。
日本おもちゅあ無線協会(NORA)は、おもちゃの無線機を用いてアマチュア無線風の活動を楽しむことを目的とした親睦団体です。
活動の一環としてアワードの発行も行っています。
私たち LoPRA Lab が、この協会の事務局を務めています。

Nippon Omoteur Radio Association
The term Omoteur is a coined word that combines omocha (the Japanese word for “toy”) and “amateur.”
The Nippon Omoteur Radio Association (NORA) is a fellowship organization dedicated to enjoying amateur radio-style activities using toy radio equipment.
The association also issues awards as part of its activities.
We, Low Power Radio Lab, serve as the secretariat of this organization.

おもちゅあ無線とは / What is Omoteur Radio?
「Omoteur Radio」とは、玩具やホビー用の微弱無線機を活用し、アマチュア無線風の楽しみ方をする活動のこと。
日本の電波法では「微弱無線」や「ワイヤレスマイク」の規制枠内で最大0.2mW程度までの出力が許され、27MHz帯や40MHz帯での利用が可能です。理論計算とグラフから、数km程度の通信が実現できることが示されました。法律上は「交信」ではなく「混信を楽しむ」ことが前提ですが、工夫次第で玩具ラジオも立派な通信手段となり得ます。
“Omoteur Radio” refers to the creative use of toy-grade or hobby-grade low-power devices to mimic amateur radio activities.
Under Japanese radio law, “weak radio devices” and “wireless microphone” regulations allow up to about 0.2 mW of transmit power, primarily on the 27 MHz and 40 MHz bands.
Theoretical calculations and graphs show that communication over several kilometers is feasible.
Legally, it is framed as enjoying interference rather than formal communication, but with ingenuity, even toy radios can become surprisingly capable tools.
